Intro to Unix and HPC Computing

This workshop introduces foundational command-line skills and high-performance computing (HPC) workflows for reproducible bioinformatics research.
Topics include:
- Unix shell basics and efficient terminal workflows
- File systems, permissions, and process management
- Remote access and data transfer on shared servers
- Job scheduling fundamentals for HPC environments
- Best practices for organizing and running scalable analyses
